Delicate Sitchers Show and Tell, November 2022

Deb showed us this Darling quilt.  She named it "Solomon, the Elephant".   I call it the Elephant Safari.  She made it for her daughter-in-law for Christmas.  The DIL loves safari animals. A closeup of another one of the elephants. Marian showed us this wall hanging "Autumn Geese".  "I made this for Laura Senter when we did the fabric exchange challenge.  The circle of flying geese is paper-pieced using freezer paper.   I tried to get a closeup of the geese, here it is a little blurry.  The circle of flying geese is very inspirational, a challenging method for a quilting pattern.   This is the back of Marian's Geese wallhanging.  The piece can obviously be used both ways to hang in your house.  Beautiful work as always, Marian.   Lydia showed us this quilt she named "Sparkling Stars".  It is made with her favorite colors of purple and turquoise.  The back is in complimentary colors, the last picture here is a closeup of back, so pretty, and perfec
