Delicate Stitchers, Show and Tell, October, 2022

Peggy was in charge of the program this week and gave a lesson on the "Twista Block".  She had a book of instruction for this block, which showed a variety of uses for this technique.  Use this pattern for everything from small placemats, table runner, whole quilts of various sizes.  Also, the pattern can be made small size, medium or large for the individual pieces.  She showed us one that could be  used as a pot holder.  The next one was the same fabric in a table runner - with borders. Here are two examples of how she used this block pattern.  I know she has several more examples.  Peg will be teaching The "Twista Block" at a Sew Saturday and at a retreat.   Paula Martin, with Halloween approaching, made stuffed bats from a panel and a pattern This quilt, from Paula was "made for my Godchild who loves teal green colors".  The pattern is a "hidden 9-patch" pattern.  This pattern can look complicated as in this quilt.  It is a beautiful pattern
