March Meeting Show and Tell

Lyla Ott, a visiting guest, showed two old crazy quilts made by her great grandmother.  We had fun looking at the different fabrics and details.   Mary had fun making a pencil swag for the classroom her granddaughter is in.  Each student also got a personalized pencil with their name.   Shauna made this disappearing 9-patch for her nephew's wedding.  He requested black white and green.  Notice the pieced back using left overs.  She did the quilting on her domestic machine.   Wow!  Amazing work!  A UFO by Pat Byrd Wool applique A knitted bag made by Pat Byrd Deb Shank with her new purse, a pattern of Bonnie's but so many modifications that it is now Deb's pattern.  She loves her bright colors! Neck Aprons made by Deb at the Pins and Things Retreat A Mondo Bag made by Deb awhile back.  She laughed as she explained that she didn't understand the purpose of the printed interfacing...
