Deb with several great quilts... Red, White, and Blue for Quilt Fest

We have a wonderful quilt room at the Grand Center where donated fabric is stored and organized.  We came upon these handpainted signature blocks.  Deb took it upon herself to put them into this lovely quilt.  It will be displayed at Quilt Fest as a group project.

September  Show and Tell

Peggy showing the quilt she inherited from a friend who passed away.  She described it as an ugly/ beautiful quilt.  The fabric choices are so scrappy and delightful  and seen in this picture the design is very showy!
Peggy showing her quilt for the Museum Challenge.  Her Migration Story.  She came to Utah to teach school.

Deb showing her Museum Challenge quilt.  She said the reason they ended up in Moab was to come here when her son was little to see the dinosaurs.

Diane with her Challenge Quilt using left overs from another quilt.  She said it is representing plowed fields and snow.   Below is the backing of the quilt a batik from Indonesia.

Our Opportunity Quilt all finished.  It will be displayed at Quilt Fest as a group project.
