October Show and Tell

Lou with her beautiful faceted jewels quilt...

Crystal showing a bunch of her amazing handwork... wool applique and embroidery.

Audrey with a bunch of projects she worked on during Quilt Fest.
She learned the Laura Heine method of collage and loved doing it... See her two bears.

Above, Audrey with her collection of bags made from a panel.
Below she made a cover for her serger and fun pillow... I think it will go in her turquoise retro sewing camper!

Mary in her stylish Witch hat... She whipped it up in a day!

Above, Shauna's Medallion Quilt ready for the museum show.
Below, two of her most recent quilts made from squares - fronts and backs.

Close up of her 9-patch made from 2" squares.

Below, Peggy shows off her black and white "Bear Woods."  It's from an earlier challenge.
She had it on display at Quilt Fest.

Peggy showing her UFO finished quilt from a class she took a couple years ago.  Made with a layer cake from Moda... Nantucket Summer.

The back of her quilt using all the little leftover peices.

Peggy entered her Circle Game quilt to be judged at Quilt Fest and got an award of excellence!  It's fun to get ribbons!  But it came with a critique that definately shows room for improvement.

Marian also entered her quilt for judging and came home with an award of excellence.  Her quilts are always stunning!

Glad to have Lori back!  She had fun making these little rugs from a jelly rolll found at Wabi Sabi.  They turned out so nice.

Lori made this fun Turtle Applique quilt... It is especially meaningful because she and her adult children spent some time getting help for a turtle that was tangled with a bobber.  This turtle has a name, but I can't spell it!

Kim was excited for Show and Tell... Wow she has been sewing up a storm.  Below, is a large quilt she made from fabric she got at Lee's.
Note she used a bunch on the back too!
Someone asked if she would be putting it on her bed. Her response:
"Not until we get rid of the dog."

Below, she is showing a tool holder she made and a large bag to hold her sewing supplies.

Debbie is showing off her UFO... It is the quilt made from her the friendship stars the guild gave her as a gift for being president.   Check out the back too!

Above, A window Pane quilt depicting Winter.

Below, a quilt she put in the Quilt Fest Show and won a 1st place ribbon.

As always, we inspire each other with our projects big and small!
