September Show and Tell

Paula showing her eye catching red, white, and black quilt.  She is fairly new to doing long arm quilting so we admired how she quilted it.  Well done Paula!

Aaron, supermom and super girlscout leader showing what she has been working on with her scouts!  The top one is a camp blanket / poncho.  What a cool idea!

In October Deanne is teaching us how to make these adorable stockings for our kids, both big and small.  They are made from 2 pairs of tube socks.
Check out the chubby cheeks on the back!

Lydia brought this quilt she made some time ago.  It is a Mikenna Ryan quilt which several members were familiar with.  Lydia was interested to see one on display at the Springville Museum.

Check out all of the quilts Mary has been finishing.  This first one is a Judy Niemeyer.  Look at all those appliqued circles and perfect points!

I believe this was a block of the month?  Not Judy Niemeyer.  It is king sized and a UFO...

We admired the quilting on the back too!

Smokey the Bear... a baby quilt

Above Mary's finish from the Melissa Crory class!
Below...
There is a quilt named OMG... This could be another one with the same name.  Look at the applique and the little border pieces.  Absolutely Gorgeous.  This is just the top... Still needs the finishing touches.  We'll be watching for it!

Shauna with a quilt featuring embroidered blocks she got from Audrey.  She used Repro fabrics to border each block in most cases.  A lovely finish!
My notes say something about Prager Vermeer and the Dutch Girl ... Whispers...

Cute puppy... hmmm... I do believe this is a medallion quilt.  Maybe she will enter it into our medallion show in December.
