February Show and Tell

February Show and Tell

From our Zoom meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of February.

Audrey's Valentines made from a shrunken wool sweater.

Audrey's "Bernie Mittens" created from a thrift store sweater.

Crystal's Balloon Quilt

Linda's Double Wedding Ring using up some 2.5" strips.

Peggy's hand pieced Broken Star Quilt... Still needs borders... and then of course quilting.  She will be deciding on machine or hand quilting.

Peggy's Grassy Creek Quilt still being made and played with to find the most pleasing layout.  It is a busy quilt.  The layout below takes away one element and gives the eyes a place to rest.  Other people who did the challenge have changed the sashing in multiple ways.  Time will tell!

Shauna picked up a couple cute panels at our UFO / fabric exchange on one fine Saturday at Rotary Park.  These are pictures of a baby quilt she made for the Pregnancy Center.

Another of Shauna's baby quilts made with some leftover Tumbler blocks.
In about 10 days Shauna pieced this Half Square Triangle Yoga Mat for her daughter.

Vonda shared some of her needle turned applique blocks that tell her story.  The quilt will have 30 blocks total.  She has completed 24.  Shown here are 10 of them. What a wonderful story it tells!

Her maiden name is "Bird."

A picture of the famous icon that we have in our backyard.  Lucky us!

How does your Garden Grow?

Her husband loves his tractor.  This is not the first of her tractor themed quilts!
