Show and Tell from our Zoom Meeting on Tuesday January 5th.

Audrey showed a baby blanket she is making out of  repurposed wool cashmire sweaters to be added to the cute minky back.  Oh and check out that cute little baby hat.

Audrey and Peggy traveled to Fort Collins Colorado and met up with a friend from South Dakota.  4 fun days of sewing ensued.  The design wall shows a sampling of work completed.
Mini - Retreats during this Covid time is the way to go.

Shauna is helping out a friend who made the center part of this quilt.  She was struggling with the borders.  This is a quilt made of cotton and minky. Minky can be challenging because of its stretch!

Here are details showing the back of the quilt and the border with the corner block.

Shauna used a whole bag of selvages to make several blocks.  She did Quilt As you Go so now they just need to be joined.  She asked for suggestions.  There are a couple links in our newsletter that show two different ways to join quilt blocks.  Don't you love google and You Tube?

Waiting for the finish!

Linda showed her "Labryinth" Quilt. It looks complicated, but she said the directions were great.

Lou shared two of her 2020 UFO's.  The Elephant Collage and a circular table topper!

All for now!  Keep on stitching and stay safe.  Vaccines coming!  Yay!
