Bernie explained that she is now eating lunch with the seniors, some of which need longer aprons to catch the food. She made this one and plans on making more to give away at Christmas.
Arran with her American Banner. She will be sending it to her Mother in Law who lives in Florida. She can enjoy it for the whole year that we are celebrating 250 years as a country.
Mary's older sister pieced the quilt above. Mary quilted it. She explained that her sister is the one who convinced her to try quilting. She really took to it. See below her colorful paper-pieced bear paw.
Pat made this Storm at Sea quilt a while back for her son.
Pat with her little appliqued wall hanging she made at Panquitch Quilt Show/Retreat
Audrey had a lot to show from her Panguitch Adventure. They gave participants the storage bag. She pulled many treasures out of it.
Below... the purple banners she made for the League of Women Voters to wear in the 4th of July Parade.
An apron from some cute vintage fabric in the quilt room... to be given to the Grand Center as part of our service project this year. A cool feature is the neck band is run throught the arm area which then ties in the back. Because it runs through the facings, it is adjustable.
And a pattern for doll clothes.
Actually, she is making a holster for this little chain saw. She bought a pair of leather boots for $5, removed the tongues and will lace them together to make a blade cover. Then she thought she would create new tongues for the boots with some fabric and milk jugs. It will be interesting to see her finished products.
Who are the dolls for? "Me." says Audrey who is a doll person. dressed in sweet little outfits which I assume Audrey made. Below is a doll blanket made from scraps.
Michele is showing off her newest sewing tool. A giant seam ripper! She was really hamming it up!
Shauna with her latest double nine-patch made with her collection of squares. She is going to give this one to Quilts of Valor. She joined the Stash Buster contest last night which pretty much means she will most likely win since she always uses the odds and ends she already has in her posession.
