Aaron has missed out meetings because of her girl scouts.  Next year she hopes to change the day of scouts so she can come back to meetings!

Vonda with her imaginative Season's Quilt featuring the life of birds through the seasons.  Her maiden name is Bird or Byrd so she is partial to birds.

Audrey with her $15 quilt made with the 2.5" candy squares.
She used a technique she learned that takes a checkerboard grid
and turns the squares on point.

Peggy hammed it up modeling her new "Trish Jacket."  She used fabric that came from Bonnie Crysdale when she cleaned out some of her stash.

Audrey shared pictures of her Quilt Studio on Wheels.  She has a sweet little Singer Featherweight in her Retro Camper.  Note she is set up on a table along side the river!  Hard day at the office.

Shauna's Season's Quilts... shown by Peggy

Marian showed a fall landscape quilt she made in 2009.
It's never been in a show so she will add it to the Seasons Challenge.
She also showed her quilt that she hasn't finished.
It is from a photo Nick took.  A humingbird drinking from a Texas Red Yucca!
Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture.
Never fear, we will post the whole show in a future blog.

The Circle Game - by Peggy... And the seasons, they go round and round,
And the painted ponies go up and down....

Candi showed her very large and beautiful paper pieced Tree Skirt.
She will use it on her 4' tree! :)

In addition, she showed two of the bargello flags she made, which I didn't get a picture of.. And then she pulled out a stack of 14 total that she made and bound.  Shes hooked on making those!

Annie and her daughter are showing Annie's Raw Edge Applique Quilt that she is working on.

We are looking forward to our 23rd Annual Museum Show!
It will be hanging at the Moab Museum for the Months of July and August.
You can see the quilts, meet the quilters and meet Annie, this year's Artist in the Parks,
at the First Friday ArtWalk on Friday, August 2nd from 5-8 PM.
